Current Board Members

Dedicated to a Healthy Lake Region

The Lake Manitoba Stewardship Board is composed of individuals committed to a healthy lake region.

The Board's initial members were appointed to a three year term ending February 2010. 

Gordon Goldsborough (Chair) resides in Winnipeg. He is a member of the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Manitoba and Director of the University's Delta Marsh Field Station on the south shore of Lake Manitoba. Gordon was a member of the former Lake Manitoba Regulation Review Advisory Committee.

Bill Finney (Vice Chair) resides in Eddystone. He is a cattle producer and a commercial fisher. Bill was a member of the former Lake Manitoba Regulation Review Advisory Committee.

Allan Gaudry resides in St. Laurent. Allan is a commercial fisher. He works closely with the walleye rearing ponds located at St. Laurent and he is involved with the Fairford Fishway Working Group and the West Interlake Conservation District.

Bob Harrison is the manager of Surface Water Management at Manitoba Water Stewardship. Bob regularly updates the Board on lake levels and flow data. He resides in Winnipeg.

Dan Coyle is a former Assistant Deputy Minister in the Manitoba Highways Department (Registrar of Motor Vehicles).resides in Winnipeg. He is a longtime cottage owner at Laurentia Beach in the community of St. Laurent. He resides in Winnipeg.

Tracy Filion resides in Grahamdale. She is a rancher and commercial fisher.

Harold Fleming resides in Meadow Portage. He is a cattle rancher and commercial fisher. 

Randy Helgason resides in Ashern. He is a commercial fisher and a councillor with the RM of Siglunes.

David Milani resides in Boggy Creek. He is a fisheries consultant and has experience working on projects that pertain to the Lake Manitoba fishery.

Gary Morlock is an avid sport fisher and hunter. He is a Vice President of the Manitoba Wildlife Federation and he is the Angling Committee Chair. He sits on the Project Review Committee (PRC) of the Fisheries Enhancement Fund (FEF). Gary resides in Winnipeg.

Linda Schroedter resides in Moosehorn. She is a cattle rancher and has lived along Lake Manitoba her entire life.

Donald Smith resides in Langruth. He is a commercial fisher and rancher.

Norman Traverse resides in Lake St. Martin. He is a member of the First Nations community and he is a commercial fisher on Lake Winnipeg.

Rae Trimble-Olson resides near Portage la Prairie. She operates a grain farm and a purebred cattle farm and is a long time cottage user at Delta Beach.
